Because a mirror is a reflection, we are actualy seeing ourselves differently to how others see us. This is also the reason why so many people don't think they look good in photographs, because it is opposite to how we see our selves in the mirror.

I don't have mirrors on the walls in my house. Hubby has one for a shave. I hate seeing myself in a mirror so avoid them.

I do! they should invent a mirror that makes you look stunning everytime you look into it. especially first thing in the morning!
