It is not the fault of God that people get divorced. He says there ain't no such thing. It has to be the people. It is my belief that they were not really married in the first place. real mar rage is 1+1+1= 1 . If the equation is not like this it isn't marriage. That is one man, one woman, and God. All three become one in the relationship, and it is a permanent bond, impossible for any man to put asunder. That does not mean God can't change things but He won't as long as everything was in place in the first place. In many cases the marriage is just a ritual that takes place more like a giant party. I know that back in my party days I had such hangovers at the weddings I was involved in that all I could think about is getting it over and getting a drink. Do you think I was truly in a state of mind to honor the wedding between the woman and God and my self?
The priest thing is another animal that probably wouldn't matter if they were married because it is a sexual addiction. That means that they have a problem that needs deliverance. If anything Christ is the only answer for this problem.
Just because someone is called a Christian does not mean that is the fact. That too takes a dedication and a marriage with God, in a way, just like the wedding feast. So if that don't happen the person claiming to be a Christian isn't either, or is choosing to operate outside of the faith, usually due to the conviction of their addiction.

That is a dumb question.
You don't know what the word tolerant means in context. It is like saying that if you don't want to be gang banged by 23 men, that you are intolerant.
Well?
Christianity is not represented by the actions of a minority. Therefore, what certain priests do does not mean that that is what Christianity says to do nor does it mean that the church condons it.
That would be like saying that because one BLACK person robbed a bank, that ALL BLACKS are criminals. And you wouldn't say that, would you? It would mean you are prejudiced and a racist.
So, that isn't acceptable way of thinking, is it?
Next.
Priests , many years ago , could marry, but something happened in Rome. There was a Pope (they could marry at the time...) who was married to Lucrecia Borgia (the pope's last name was Borgia) and she embezzled money from the church and did other nasty things. The church later feared that wives of Pope's would have too much influence in the church so they banned marriage of all priests altogether.
You are confused on one thing.
We do have divorce in Christianity. There are many Christian religions. There are many Protestant religions that are Christian. Did you ever hear of the Protestant Reformation, Martin Luther? Were you skleeping in school? Episcopal, Methodist, Lutheran, etc.?
You are speaking of the Roman Catholic Church and not Christianity. Protestant Christian churches the pastors can and do marry, have kids etc.
So, please do not confuse the two. They aren't the same at all.
So, you need to educate yourself on this stuff.

Just because someone or something (like a religion) is tolerant, by tolerant I think you mean accepting of different ideologies, doesn't make it lawless. If Christianity is tolerant of another religion, it doesn't mean it doesn't have it's own rules.
Maybe you are tolerant of people that believe in Santa Clause, but that doesn't mean that you have to believe, or that you can't have rules that say believing in imaginary creatures is wrong.
For the second part, Christianity is an organized religion based on the belief that Jesus was the son of God and died for our sins.

Hey christianity does have divorce. In the Gospel according to Mathew a person can get a divorce if their partner commits adultery. The reason why priests do not get married (am sure you are referring to as catholic) is because they have chosen their path of not getting married. It is a choice that a person takes and like Paul said, some of us are met to serve God while married and other Chose not to in order to serve God with their might.
The priest who chose to fornicate are doing it out of their own pleasure and they are committing sin. Nobody is forcing them to be where they are. They need to realise that they can get out when the rules becomes tough. My definition of christianity is living your life serving and doing God's word.

I think Christ was tolerent, Christianity may not be; just as founders of other religions were and whatever happened to their religions later on!
Kindly read a long story, 'Zahatopok', by Lord Bertarand Russel and a novel published much later on by Nobel laureate John Steinbeck, the title may be 'God's wrath'

Priests CAN marry - if they are Anglo-Catholic (read: Episcopal) priests. All of the priests I know in the two Episcopal churches closest to my home are married, with children.
Christianity is a relationship with Christ Jesus. Period.
And not being married has nothing to do with molesting children. My stepfather is married and that didn't stop him from molesting me when I was a teenager.

To answer your question, permit me to say that Catholicism is very different from Christianity.
Christianity has the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ when He is still walking on earth, passed on to His apostles, which they taught to the Church of Christ.
Catholicism, on the other hand, has many different doctrines that are not found on the bible, moreover, contradicting what's in it.
Let me site a few examples:
-- Roman Catholic encourages idol worship which is forbidden by God - Exodus 20:3-5
-- The teachings of Catholicism that Christ is God is very contradicting to what Jesus Christ says in John 8:40
No wonder then that the Roman Catholic is very confusing, all because it is not the real Christian Church.
