I found the Martha Steward planner to be the best. You can get it like 1/2 off at amazon.com. It's divided into sections and it gives you sheets you can photocopy and do work on. It also has spots for budgets, guest list and ect. I like it because it also comes with a time line to kinda give you hints when you should start doing things. It has a couple of folder in the back and it has two transparent pockets with the zip lock tops (so you don't lose anything) and a biz card (clear) holder. If anything- this book has too much information.... like the difference between a christian and a Jewish wedding. It also gives you a guide for flower and what colors they come in. I can't say enough good things about it- it's saving my sanity!! Good Luck.

There are a lot of wedding planner guides out there. Best places to look are Michael's or other craft stores and also some of the better Hallmark stores will have unique planners. You can also put together a binder of your own with the transparent pockets, and cut out different articles and pictures to put into it.
Good Luck

Miss Manners' books about weddings are INDISPENSIBLE in planning a wedding. You can even get them cheap on half.com or powells.com.
Many other wedding planning and etiquette books I have read are written by people who have not done any research into true etiquette before writing-- it seems any idiot can get a book published these days-- I have seen some REALLY bad advice in magazines and recent books!
Those fill-in planning kits with pockets are often given away free at various bridal shows-- don't spend money on one. You can even make your own with regular office supplies and a binder.
