I am 24 and 1.74m tall. I like tall guys,
A closed friend of mine just confessed his love for me and proposed marraige. He is 32, handsome, quiet but fun to be with. Most often when am hurt i run to him for advice and consolation, as my friend he is always eager to help me out in times of need, he is very caring but he is short. just 1.68m. I feel something strong for him too. As a friend it was ok strolling with him, but as lovers??? Does hieght really matter in a relationship.

The answer is a "Yes". Height does matter, if not for you than for the people around you (society).. beside there are some small time issues as well, like you would never be able to wear high heels with him and all that stuff... BUT then, should that stop you from getting married to a guy whom you so well connect with.. It's quite hard to come across someone who is always there when you need him, someone who understands you, someone who is handsome and fun to be with and most importantly someone who loves you. (as per what you wrote).. These are the traits of a good life partner and I think they are enough to overcome one handicap, his height. If he is a great guy then you should go ahead and take the jump. Height, out of all the reasons, should be the last one to consider when it comes to marriage.

No of course it doesn't matter if two people really love one another. However the very fact that you are asking this question suggests to me that your feelings for him are probably not strong enough to warrant the two of you getting married. If they were, you really wouldn't need to ask the question!

No. Go for him. Don't be silly. If you are attracted sexually to him, what's the problem?. I think that you are worrying about what other could say when see you with him. Do whatever you want and not what others expect!

nothing matters in love other than love itself.....dont loose someone so nice just b/c of a physical aspect....you should be proud to have someone so dedicated n caring!!

no height does not matter at all.I'm taller than guys and I'm always with them.if you like him than marry him but if you don't feel comfortable than forget him.

It all depends upon your prefrences in life. you say you like tall people, so ask urself if him being short matters to you more than his qualities.... choice is entirely yours.... itdoesnt matter according to me....
