First of all, you do not have to be single to have orgasms. And secondly, the number is countless. I have been with a woman who really knew herself, and could orgasm 20 or more times, but she was so exhausted afterward, my orgasm was done to a collapsed carcass just lying on the bed. She had more fun than I did, and she was very happy for a long time after wards. So, you can not put a limit on it, but you really have to know yourself to achieve that kind of number.

Depends on a man's ability to endure the effort of the "working". THeoretically, woman is capable of having many orgasms, because it doesn't affect any of her abilities for continuation of the "work", whereas for a man an orgasm usually is the end of the intercourse.
There is also a distinction between the single orgasm and the multiple orgasm. Sometimes, if properly aroused, a woman can acheive continuous series of orgasms, with a couple of seconds pauses between them. THe most common orgasm is the single one, when the climax is achieved with only one orgastic sensation, of shorter or longer duration. On the other side, multiple orgasm has a series of shorter, but equaly strong orgastic sensations.
It all depends on a woman's training (yes, the orgasm is trained) and the amount of affection toward the man involved in the intercourse.

anyway, i lose count every time, 20 sounds about right. i'll try counting tonite and get back to you, but yes you need to know your body. once you learn how to gush and need plastic under you sheets, you're in heaven.
