Weight lifting in adolescent men or boys I should say can cause premature capping of the growth plates in your bones.It's unlikely that if you are eating right and not lifting very heavy every day that this will happen.I started lifting at 14 and grew to be the same height as your parents.And people who think lifting weights is a pointless activity are obviously not good at it or look like you want to look.Stick with it and be careful.Read about it when you can and talk to people who have gotten good results to see what they've done.Don't take everything you here as law.There is allot of misinformation out there.If there are no clinical references at the end of an article that you read chances are it is only opinion

yes b'coz the more you lift heavy objects the heavier you get and stronger gravity pulls on you.

yea it does. it pushes ur bone or ur spine or smth. u can see tt w8 lifters are not tall.........
