Eat more fish. Add a natural antiprostaglandin to your diet with fish. Fish contain omega-3 fatty acids, which supress prostaglanding production

The greatest coping technique is a support group. Do not go to a support group that is having pitty parties at each meeting. Fibromyalgia support groups are also helpful with your problem. There are things that you need to hear from others who are in your situation. Three days after my diagnosis I went to a support meeting. They were pitty parties so I started my own group. You have to have positives along with the morning that goes with chronic pain of any kind. A support group that does research on various diseases is extremely successful because you are not being self-centered. You are helping others with different health problems and at the same time, you are self-satisfying yourself.

Endometriosis is a growth of cells similar to those that form the inside of the uterus (endometrial cells) outside of the uterus. Endometrial cells are the same cells that are shed each month during menstruation. Endometriosis results when endometrial cells grow outside the uterus. These cells attach themselves to tissue outside the uterus and are called endometriosis implants. The implants are most commonly found on the ovaries, the fallopian tubes, outer surfaces of the uterus or intestines, and on the surface lining of the pelvic cavity.
