when darwin proposed his theory of evolution he knew that one of the great weaknesses in it was that there was no fossil evidence of intermediate forms between early apes and early humans (the so-called 'missing link' problem).
for a very long time no fossil pre-humans were discovered. indeed things got so bad that somebody forged a half-man / half-ape creature to supply the 'gap' in the fossil record.
nobody knows who created the hoax of piltdown man, but if you investigate the history closely a lot of evidence points to the religious mystic pierre teilhardt de chardin. if pierre was the culprit he probably placed the bogus fossils to discredit evolution as a theory.
but long before the piltdown hoax was finally exposed (in 1953) a whole family of ape / man intermediate species had begun to appear:- the australopithecines.
creationists promised that no 'missing link' would ever be found. from the 1880s until the 1930s they boasted that only the discovery of such a species could ever disprove their position.
then when the australopithecines began to appear creationists decided that perhaps what they had been saying for fifty odd years was never really what they meant after all.
proper scientists stand by their hypotheses until they are disproven. darwin never lived to see the discovery of the 'missing link' he had promised, but he knew there must be such species, and he stood by his words.
creationists on the other hand change their story every time a new scientific discovery disproves them. they are bull-sh******.

The news just had a story about finches in the galapogos islands that evolved within the last 100 years. Because of religion, we're now saddled with terms such as microevolution and macroevolution. It's a game of semantics brought about by the church to cloud the issue.
It's verifiable proof nontheless. Maybe next we can watch creationists evolve to the point where they're born with their head already in the sand...

I'll offer 1 million dollars if you can give undeniable proof of Creationism. Neither one will ever have "undeniable" proof. Both will always require some faith that it happened because there is no way to know for sure. Although I think Evolution requires far less faith.

According to reliable scientists, the theory of evolutionism is coherent with most of the observations (paleontology, archeology).
I write "reliable", because there are some "fanatic" scientists who blindly believe that their theories are the "holy truth". They are a minority.
"Reliable" scientists are humble when they compare observations with theories. They don't hesitate to modify theories each time observations contradict theorical expectations.
I am sure that evolutionism-theory will evolve, but honestly, I don't think there is any pragmatic observation that reinforces creationism-theory.
Anyway, I would enjoy discovering pragmatic proofs that give credit to creationism-theory. I mean, "real" scientific proofs/observations. Pragmatic.
But I prefer to trust the science called "exobiology" in this field.
I trust that scientists won't ever fall in mind manipulations.
Religions are religions. Sciences are sciences. Never mix them.

Can't we move beyond this? Believers are not going to convince athiests. Athiests are not going to change believer's minds. God will sort it out. Let just get past it and do something constructive instead of arguing back and forth insulting and taunting each other. They choose to not believe? Fine. Go find someone who is hungry for God. Make a difference!
Next it will be katusha rockets and howitzer rounds if we had them at our disposal. All in the name of God.
