1) most people in the middle east (particulary arab countires) stronlgy believe that if you get out of your house right after taking a shower/bath, you will get sick with the cold!
2) also in arab countries, they tend to blame air condtioning for stomach cramps/ache!

Being wet will not give u a cold, it could lower the immune response, but rhinovirus give u the cold. Air condtioners cause lung problems b/c they grow bacteria in the resivour.

the first is true to some effect, in the sense taht not being sufficiently dry, and being subjected to winds or the cold can give you a cold.
the second is possible. teh exceedingly cold air that enters the stomach can irritate it. this doesn't affect everyone though.

don't know about the stomach thing but I think the definition of a cold is...
temperature shock, rapid changes in temp that affect your core temp (if you dress warmly in winter your core temp should not change)
Warm bath to cold windy environment?
Even if you dry off very thoroughly...
