I know of the capatal New Dehli, and The Taj Mahal, and the Kashmir region which you are still in a fight with Pakistan over.
I have met many people here in Oregon, US, that are from India and also Sri Lanka. Indian food is also VERY GOOD...

Maybe what ppl didn't know about india is that it is the 4th richest economy in the world. People here though have been spat upon and downtrodden have still not lost hope and are still trying to uplift the nation. And India has the most number of billionaires in the world only next to USA. duh! now that's something!!

Demographers must go nuts due to what seems like a law that every other citizen of India who comes to the USA must have the name: Patel.
Also, they all seem to either have or have access to plenty of dough...to buy mini-marts and filling-stations and Inns.
No, it isn't a plot to take-over the country, economically.(Or is it? Ha! and Ha!)
Do they assimilate?I think so.(But whadda I know?)

uhh...India is a country is Southern Asia...second most populous country in the world..capital is New Delhi....Most Indians follow the Hinduism religion; a lot of Indians are traditional...cows are sacred in India and not eaten...that's all I really know about India.
