Daydreaming is good. It only becomes bad when it interferes with some aspect of your life, for example, when u daydream in class while the teacher is teaching.

Daydreaming allows us to fulfil our inner desires, usually those that we cannot really accomplish in real life. It also gives us a deeper insight into who we really are and what we really want. I believe that as u daydream, u will learn more about yourself.

When I drift off into a daydream, it relaxes me and let me escape from the moment for a while. Sometimes things get to hectic in life and you just need a mental break. When I finally get back to doing whatever it was I was doing, I feel completely relaxed and slightly rested. It's nice, you should try it sometime!

To an extent it is normal, but when you do this your really not letting the neurons in your brain fire. Ive read that people who do excessive daydreaming in their life can lead to Alzheimer's. But I don't know how extensive studies on that are.
