it was 1270, the new SAT out of 2400....i'm about to enter my senior yr in HS and so far i got a 3.958 unweighted GPA and 4.06 weighted GPA.....i have not join any extra curricular activities [not good at socializing since i'm a very shy, unsociable person] except go to school, get A's on my academic classes, go home, do HW, watch TV, eat and sleep [i had 2 B's in my transcript soo far and 46 A's]....

i've taken 5 math classes including trig and pre-cal, 3 sciences including chem and physics [required in college]

..but with a problem with my SAT, do u guys/gals think i could pull it off and get into University of san francisco?....my dream college...

then i'm also planning to go to Oxford for a master degree once i graduate from USF....

dunt mean to be blabbing all these things but i'm too afraid of not getting admitted into a college of my choice

help me out or better, give me good advices

.....would be gladly appreciated...

You're right, that's a low score and it might hinder your chances of getting into USF. It's not too late to try to take the SAT's again! I realize it's a pain, but it will give you a better shot at getting into your dream school. The SAT questions are very formulaic and you can improve your SAT score by taking practice tests. See if your parents will buy a test prep book or sign you up for a prep class. There's no need to take the most expensive class out there, but if you or they can afford USF, then you or they can probably afford an SAT prep class. If not, your local public library or school library will have SAT prep books that you can make some photocopies from for your studying. Focus on the sections that were more difficult for you.

Check the average SAT Score at USF, take it again if you think it's necessary.. and join an extracurricular activity : )

I have never taken SAT before. But I think you should retake it and do better. In addition, try to break the ice and join an extracurricular activity,
