It sounds like no body could change your mind about what you feed your dog....
If you are seriously wanting to know...Raw bones are OK..Cooked bones splinter and can choke or perforate her GI tract.
Onions cause anemia..A few M&Ms killed my pug... grapes and raisins cause kidney failure..Fatty foods cause pancreatitis.

Otherwise, table-scraps are better then most dog kibbles found at the grocers.

Table scraps are okay, so long as she is getting enough food and has a balanced diet. You might want to supplement her food with a dog kibble, or with additional rice, meat and vegetables to make sure she is getting the needed nutrients.

However, cooked chicken bones and chocolate are both bad for dogs. In small quantities, the chocolate she may have eaten in the past probably did not hurt her. But to be on the safe side, avoid giving her chocolate in the future. The cooked chicken bones are also dangerous because they can easily splinter and cause a puncture in her intestines. Again, avoid giving her cooked chicken bones in the future.

Ok chicken bones break apart and then can cause a tear in the dog and they could choke as well. And table scraps causes their teeth to become soft and causes much more plaque, and if you are feeding table feed as you eat then that only encourages begging while you are eating. So yeah, not good for the dogs. And no neither is chocolate.

All them vets and whatever will tell you whatever they can to get you to buy all the expensive food and whatnot for your precious dog. The more money you spend, the better they are off. Listen, if you can eat it, then your dog can eat it. In Russia all that dogs eat are table scraps, and normal food that you eat, and nothing happens. I have a cat come by my house all the time and he eats all sorts of bones ans stuff, and he just keeps on comin. As long as your dog is not a chuhuahawa wawa wawa, you're good. By the way, I never fed a dog a chocolate bar, but I hear they can be harmful/fatal, and anyway, if you got some extra chocolate, don' t feed it to the dog, send it to me;)

Pet food products are balanced for your type of pet. So even though your pet may enjoy your food, it should eat a balanced pet manufactured product to obtain the essentials that it may not be getting from yout diet. Chocolate can kill a dog and as far as the chicken bones, well even though your dog may not have had a problem yet, the chicken bones are very brittle and splinter when chewed and may become lodged in the animals throat or may puncture the esophagus.

Any cooked bones are bad news for animals- they are made brittle by the ccoking process and can splinter, causing internal injuries. Just because you can't see it hurting your dog, doesn't mean it isn't. No chocolate either. There is a chemical in the cocoa bean that is poisonous for dogs. A small amount won't matter, but too much will cause serious liver damage. Onions also cause stomach upsets in dogs, so thats a no-no.

Most other stuff is fine, my dog loves my leftovers :) Just check with a vet to make sure :)

Actually ANY bones are fine for dogs IF THEY ARE RAW!!! NEVER give a bone that has been cooked in any way, for any length of time. RAW chicken pieces, bones, even frozen chicken legs are good for your dog. Many people feed RAW diets to their dogs, check out the yahoo groups for more info on RAW diets. Chocolate has theobromine in it..it's toxic to dogs but not at very small levels. I'd skip the chocolate.

Never ever give chicken bones. Chocolate can also be toxic. If you have no $ for dog food, cook up some white rice with cut up chicken. No bones, they can splinter inside of the animal causing severe internal damage which in turn will kill your dog.

Chicken bones are bad for pets because they splinter when chewed and the splinters can stick in your dog's throat or stomach. It is tempting to give table scraps but if you do, you pet will beg for them all the time. It is important that your dog eats his own dog food as it everything he needs nutritionally. I let my dog lick my plate off when I am done and this way he thinks he got a treat, but it doesn't fill him up.

Table scraps are okay it will just spoil her. Chicken bones do splinter. I gave my dog some and he threw up because I think it irritated his throat with him trying to swallow them. Chocolate is okay if it's just a little. My vet said people say not to because it is so sweet and sometimes is too much for a dogs stomach and can cause diarhea.
