Well I've heard that women are usually 5 years ahead of their age in maturity, and men are 5 years behind.. so a 23 year old woman acts 28 and a 23 year old man acts 18. I personally would never date a younger man. My bf is 4 years older than me and he's the most awesome guy I've ever dated. All of the guys I dated who were my own age were tards. But date whoever you want. Age means nothing.(unless it's illegal) It's just my own personal preference to date older men.

Age doesn't really matter. As long as the two of you care about one another then it's ok. Unless...the younger person is not of legal age. It does seem like there will be issues some time down the line with the maturity level if guy is really young.

Sure if she is maybe 1-2 yrs older. Yet if they are both over 25, it could be as much as 5-20 yrs. I am 8 yrs older than my man

Well I agree. Women I find should date women at least 2yrs older then them. But never any guy younger, the maturity levels vary so much between men and women with age. Women mature quicker.

Girls are often attracted to guys who are more mature or more confident (remember that females reach emotional maturity faster).
Guys are often attracted to younger women (it's an instinct - we are attracted by signs of fertility, which is also why we like breasts...)
But it doesn't have to be that way. We are free to make our own decisions, and we don't have to follow those general rules if we don't want to.

I do it and have done it for years,maybe it's cause I was molested as a child by an older person but besides that I really did'nt realize how young they were, they age differently these days.

My boyfriend is 2 months younger than me, I have no problem with that because he seems older.
I've dated guys that were younger than me plenty of times before as well. I've dated guys several years younger than me.
