her first child on the 19 aug n she is expecting a boy she is looking for a nice but unusual name for him, any suggestions???

It's not really unusual, but I love the name Avery.

My word!! Some of these names on here are scary!! That aside...I have a good feeling that your sister and her significant other, if he is stickin by her.., anyway, I am sure there is a name already in your sister's mind..One word of advice..Dont get too unusual....kids can be cruel over "unusual" names..and if its one of these weird one that a person cant even figure out how to pronounce..how the heck do you think the child will feel as they get older..and also, the spelling of some of them...Best thing is to ...KISS..keep it simple sweetie!

There's a really good book called the melting pot book of baby names, maybe check amazon for it. It lists names from all over the world.
In my experience though i think they name themselves (sounds strange i know) but when you see them a name appears.
