Zuchini is a member of the squash family.

I think it is the most heavenyly food available!

A\n easy way to fix it is to slice it thinly and steam, then drain and melt butter over it and lightly salt it. Yum!!!

It also can be more thickly sliced (1cm) and breaded and deep fried.

Grate it to use in cookies, breads, muffins.

Use it very thinly sliced and raw on sandwiches, esp good on vegetarian sandwiches with cream cheese, srpouts, and tomatoes.

Also thinly sliced and raw in salads.

and more ... much much more...

It is a "summer squash", that is, it doesn't have a hard rind like acorn squash. I like to roast it in the oven.

Cut zucchini into lengthwise slices (halves or quarters). Drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper and bake in 450 oven on a baking sheet or shallow casserole dish. After about 15 minutes, turn the pieces and roast for another 15. They are best when at least one of the sides that has been in contact with the dish are browned.

zucchini is a type of squash that looks kinda like a cucumber. It is quite prevalent in Italian cooking.

There are a lot of ways to cook it, it is very versatile. You find it alot in pastas. You can also grill it, just simply brush with a little olive oil and some salt and pepper. It is excellent grilled. Its easy to pan fry to, heat your pan, add your seasoning of choice (lemon juice is nice) a little butter and you can cook slices of zucchini right their.

It is a very delicious and healthy fruit.

Zucchini is a squash. It is green and looks a bit like a cucumber. Cut off the ends and then cut it into round slices (don't peel it), about 1/2 inch in thickness. Simmer until tender (about 20 min.) in tomato puree (just enough to cover it) seasoned with some basil, oregano and garlic. Great with Italian dishes.
