get a crock pot, put some meat and veggies in there and keep it warm throughout the day. when you get home, all you have to do is get it out of the crock pot and on your plate.

I hear ya! Same here. Luv to eat, hate to cook. And I can cook really good. I had a hand injury a while back, making it difficult to cook for a long time. I have found some great ways to prepare quick meals.

The easiest meal for me is to bake a potato and pan fry a really good steak, like a filet, ribeye, or sirloin strip. I buy them by the truck load when they are on sale. Prepared salad from the grocery store on the side.

Roasts are pretty simple sometimes. I like to roast a pork loin with some butter and herbs and baste it at the end with a brandy marmalade mixture. (The leftovers are great on sandwiches with some good wheat bread) Baked potato and heat some frozen peas, corn, green beans (individual serving) for a side.

Egg salad is good. I boil several eggs at a time. Then make them a sandwich at a time.
Or use them to make a tuna salad and eat it on some really good whole wheat bread.

Omelette sandwiches on bagels are good and pretty quick. I just scramble up some eggs, add a bit of cheese, throw on a slice of tomato, yum.

Keep some applesauce around for a snack. The ones that come in the individual cups. Goldfish make a good snack. Apples with sliced cheddar or Parmesan cheese and crackers, yum. Almonds with a glass of Sunny D.

I hope these help or at least get ya started.

When you do feel like cooking cook an obscenely large amount, divide into serving sizes and freeze for the nights when you are too tired to cook. Then you can just grab it out of the freezer, pop it into the microwave and eat.

When you do find time to cook some meals or simple dishes, cook extra portions which you can then just put in containers and refridgerate. Some dishes do not change their taste or nutrients when freezed ovetime, you can just heat them up when you're hungry.

You can also stock up some green leaves, fruits, nuts and raisins which you can just toss into salad less than two minutes.

Well salads are quick and easy. Also most grocery stores have cut grilled chicken for sale in a resealable bag already cooked. I find it makes a good quick protein ingredient to a salad.

Heres a standard one which you both may like. Fry or bake 3-4 ckicken breasts ( season them with somewhat garlic, salt, and pepper in case you want). placed them in a casserol dish. Pour in a can or jar of spagetti sauce. Sprinkle shredded mozzerella cheese( use a lot mmm!) Bake contained in the oven at 325 tiers lengthy sufficient to warmth the sauce and melt the cheese 20-0.5-hour. go away it uncovered in the different case it may get somewhat watery. even as its baking, prepare dinner some noodles of your selection to serve them on. French bread and a staggering salad make it a spectacular meal. wish you try it and prefer it.

haha...sounds like my story absolutely...well depends on whr u live...i am in MA, US where i have smhow discovered a couple of instant meals (MTRs I think) which are pretty decent, pre-made parathas which could keep u alive without feeling like life sucks and yeah, sm instant curry masalas (MTR chicken curry, tikka masala, etc) which help you cook stuff withn 15/20 minutes and frankly can be surprisingly tasty...all said and done i lived on McChicken last month and this month Dominoes has become my official cook so I can't say if I'm resistant to bad or junk food anymore (also since i lived in dorms for the last 6 yrs, you can say I can usually even subsist on barely edible food...unless it tastes bad, I can live on anything)...last bt not the least, if you are luckily in India just make sure you can find a good maid/cook...they will make life a lot easier...no options in here though, sniff!

Spellcaster had a good answer. I do that and also I make a big bath of chili, spaghetti, or taco soup so all I have to do is microwave a serving as needed.
