Well this is one that is hard to answer because I myself am divorced. And god hates divorce! But love binds all. Now the question is if your so called ex wants a reconcile Do it do not question!! No matter what they have done! Remember Christ said to forgive he was the sower. and it is because of the cares of the world that the word dies, or the cares of thy self that the word dies. So if you ex wants a reconciliation Give it period! Now if he be an unbeliever than there is a way. Only god can judge what is in your heart Not I Not anyone else only god.
God calls us to Peace. So it may not be adultery if you marry another but please, please make sure that person is a believer in
God and in Christ! otherwise it can be construed as adultery

First of all, if you divorced because your spouse was unfaithful, then God will not judge you at all. You didn't sin. The Bible says that this is the only truly unsinful reason to divorce your spouse. Unfaithfulness in the eyes of God could mean even just looking at pornography, or having a desire for someone else. They don't have to actually have physical sexual contact with someone else for it to be adultery in God's eyes.
Even if you divorced for another reason, if you asked God for forgiveness, and truly meant it, then it is essentially "erased" from your "record". God simply "forgets" that it ever happened. God is forgiving, and truly wants to see us in a pure light. He forgives easily as long as you ask him to.
You no longer have to worry about it. Just continue to have a close relationship with the Lord, and have peace! :D

The bible just says basically that God doesn't like a divorce. That's not the sin. It says in Matthew 19:9 -"Â I say to you that whoever divorces his wife, except on the ground of fornication, and marries another commits adultery." So unless your divorce was because your spouse cheated on you, if you remarry it's a sin.

What god? What religion? Henry the 8th broke from the church, and created his own, just so he could get divorced on a semi-regular basis.
Marriage isn't a natural state for humans, its something forced on people by religions. It was used as a means of creating bloodlines, linking kingdoms, and controlling the population. When people first came up with the phrase, "til death do us part", they were lucky to be living to the ripe old age of 40. It was real easy to make that promise when the rest of your life was less than 25 years away!

Jesus said that divorce because of adultery on the part of your mate was allowable because humans had become so hard hearted. A divorce for any other reason would be considered a sin but all of us sin every day and God has provided a sacrifice for our sins that we might be forgiven if we sincerely ask him and don't continue doing the thing we are asked to be forgiven for.

I know in my heart God will judge me as having made the right decission by allowing my marriage to end. My husband was a louse, abusive and unfaithful. He did more damage than good.
My son has suffered NONE for it..and is very well adjusted.
Even my ex agrees he couldn't have done a better job at raising him, nor would he have turned out as well if we had stayed together.
I know I have been forgiven if I did anything wrong...which I do not feel I have.

The Bible tells us :
Matthew 19:9
"And I tell you this. Anyone who divorces His wife and marries someone else commits adultery unless his wife has be unfaithful to him."
This applies for both men and women. Husband and wife.
God Bless.

Jesus dies on the cross for your sins, and all who believe will be saved. So as long as you believe in Jeus, God won't judge you on your sins, because Jesus has already paid the price. You have been bought with a price!
