Okay I'm going to PA for a family reunion and my cousin decides she'll get married while I'm there and have a large reception party at there house. Well I wasn't planning on buying a wedding gift for them any ideas?? **We are all going to VA Beach for a week the day after the party, should it be useable at the beach or is that corney?**

Money, gift certificates, gift cards. Doesn't have to be something they will use that week at all... frankly, people like longer-lasting wedding gifts.

One idea: A gift certificate toward a company that sells photo albums or other post-wedding stuff, such as:

Or a gift certificate for a company that creates photo montage videos out of wedding photos. Some photographers offer this, but it's usually either a really expensive add-on or it's poorly done. Check out:

Whatever you get them, they'll surely appreciate. Enjoy the wedding!

It's not corny to have something useful at the beach but at the same time you might want something that is more timeless than that. If they aren't registered for anything, you could try getting them something like a picnic basket, a nice lined one with a few things in it, maybe wine glasses or champagne flutes if they enjoy wine, maybe with some gourmet foods in it.

Other ideas you can always get them a nice picture frame, a vase, a gift card. If you know the couple at all something personal would be great too. If they like cooking together or if they like hiking you could get them some really cool and useful gadgets or something. Good luck!

Get a great card and stuff some money or a gift certificate inside. They'll love both.
But if you want to get a meaningful gift, a beautiful picture frame for their wedding picture will work out fine, too. Get a great card for any gift you give !
Have fun @ the beach ! : )

Get something useable.
1. I nice, formal silver platter, silverware...
2. Get materials for a scrapbook, start it off, very chic + fun, the new fad these days
3. Matching something, outfits? Funny!
4. Decoration for their new home
5. Spa treatment
6. Wine set, with cheese, knife, plate, fruit--- all in a picnic basket (enjoyable on the beach)
7. camera for future moments
8. Bicycles for two ( I love that idea!!!)
9. Cook book with utensils for the two to cook together
10. SOMETHING HOMEMADE!!!

** Something good for the pair
If you can't find anything, get a gift card to: Crate + Barrel, Pier 1 Imports, etc.
Hope this helps!

I'm guessing they didn't register, however if they did, get them something from the registry. Otherwise for a last minute gift, I'm all for the gift card, Home Depot, Lowes, Target, Pier 1, Crate and Barrel, are all good choices.

Fill a great beach bag with matching towels, disposable cameras, sunblock, bucket and shovels (kids toys), flip flops, a pretty jar (for them to save sea shells and sand in to remember their special day) and a few other personal items to make their time at the beach special. Brides and grooms always appreciate you being thoughtful and just a littly fyi TOASTERS ARE NOT THOUGHTFUL!!! lol

They might not open their gifts before they go on their honeymoon, so not a honeymoon gift.

I say give them several books of LOVE stamps in an envelope with your wedding card to them. They can use them on all their thank-you notes, or on other correspondence!

I guess money along with a sweet card with your wishes will be just fine... They'll absolutely prefer it than something of your own taste that they'll have to change afterwards forsomething possibly useless.
