We always see the questions about how we are "going to hell" and what we're doing is "full of sin" blah blah blah in the gay and lesbian section. Why even come to the gay and lesbian section and ask us if we KNOW we're going to hell, ect? You know all it's going to do is piss us off, and you're not even looking for a REAL answer, because based on your questions, you're OBVIOUSLY too close minded and judgemental ALREADY to even ATTEMPT to take our responses seriously, because you BELIEVE Christianity and the Bible is the one and ONLY true "way" and nothing is going to change your mind..just like nothing is going to change the mind of gay and lesbian individuals. So, since you're looking for someone that agrees with you, why don't you ask your fellow bible thumpers what THEY think of homosexuality and leave the gay and lesbian section alone?

Yes, my mind isn't going to be changed. Yes I feel better now, and yes, I believe this is a valid question, because when I go to the gay and lesbian section, I want to help people with real questions. (I am a female to male transsexual and believe I can give some insight into the way society treats people that most people will never have the opportunity to see) Instead, I see a bunch of gay bashing by Christians. I don't think that's right, and to be honest with you, you can be reported for it. So, if you wanna discuss the religious aspects of homosexuality, keep it to the religion section, it has nothing to do with being gay and lesbian. Unless of course your question was in the gay and lesbian section and was like "Can I be gay and still be a Christian" or something like that.

You are correct. No one has the right to cast the first stone at any sinner. We're all sinners. If I were to confront someone about their sins, I would first need to look in the mirror. God made it clear, "Judge not, lest ye be judged." I myself, as a Christian, have no right to judge others. Jesus made friends with many sinners. He spoke truth and love, but never "bashed" judgement on anyone, even though they were sinners. He wasn't here to condemn, but to show us truth, and the way to God. I don't see why some people try and "convert" others by throwing ''hellfire & brimstone'' in the person's face, this will obviously push people away from God.

Not all religious people go to that particular section. I definitely don't unless someone bashes believers there. Why do you post questions here when you know your lifestyle is put on display? You are only putting yourself in the line of fire. I have already told you how I felt about it and I believe you are looking for someone to agree with you. Being gay is a choice and is an abomination unto God. You need help! Praying 4 you.

They should leave it here but they really just want to make you angry. Ignore them. They are very closed minded when it comes to homosexuality and a few other subjects. I am not a homosexual but I have many friends that are. Some of the Christians are doing what their God told them not to do: Judge others. They are throwing that first stone knowing that they are not without sin. They are doing it over here too. We learn to ignore a lot of them. Some actually don't judge. Those are the people I don't mind talking to. Good luck over there on the gay and lesbian section. Just try to ignore them as we do here.

I haven't visited the Gay and Lesbian section, but I will tell you as a "bible thumper" that being gay is not a sin/abomination. However, acting on that urge is a sin, just as acting on any other improper impulse is sinful. However, I believe in a loving and forgiving God and know that we are all his children. I believe homosexual acts can be forgiven just like any other sin. So don't turn away from God because of a few hate-filled people (all religions have them). He loves us all.

I am one of the so called bible thumpers lol, but I don't think all gay and lesbians are going to hell thats as riduculous as saying everyone who lies is going to hell. Everyone sins it has nothing to do with wether we sin or not, but Christ is the only way to get into Heaven. I am sorry people attack you guys. There are lots of things that the bible says is a sin and people don't atack everyone who lies or steals music on the internet or swears or doesn't honor there parents or anything else. I know its not really fair and its not really our place as people to try to convict other people of things that they are doing thats God's job and maybe a pastor but not just random people we are supposed to be showing love to our fellow men and women and I appologize that we don't do that very often when it comes to this particular situation. I am sorry. I will be praying that some truly nice Christian who truly love the LORD and his neighbor as themself will come your way and not attack you, but share the love of God with you. My sister is a lesbian and she is a Christian. I may not agree with what she does, but I have never ever said she is going to hell that is just ludicrous. If that is the case better make room cause I have sinned too, but that is not what the bible teaches at all. I mean it does teach to repent of our sins, but it doesn't say that if you sin your going to hell. Sorry I meant this to be an apology not a really long explination of my personal beliefs lol.

Wow! I am LDS/Mormon myself, but I must say that it is shameful of them to go to your forums and harass you.

I however, am not closed-minded, but I am also not going to agree with something that I think is wrong. If and when a topic arises, I put in my two cents, but I NEVER purposely say hurtful things to someone who has a different lifestyle, or religion.

You are right, they should leave you be. Unfortunately, there are victims on BOTH sides, NOT just yours. It is also unfortunate that we cannot learn to be kind to one another, and leave the bashing to the less-educated.

I am sorry that many of you are being persecuted, and I must also say...
People like the ones you mentioned in your question & details... people like that are ignorant, and perhaps they will be the ones who go to hell. You can tell them that I said that!

Just remember... we are NOT all bad people. It just takes a while to weed them all out. A true Christian would NOT behave in the way that you are saying.

I doubt that most of the people who harrass you, here and in real life, are real Christians. They're biggots and ****-stirrers using a small minority of homophobic Christians to spew hate and stupidity.

I'm a Christian and have many other Christian friends who don't believe that tripe about gays being the ultimate sinners so I only ask you don't throw me in the same basket as those fools.

I suppose for the same reason that the Gay Pride Parade is held places other than San Francisco, to spread viewpoints to those who are unwilling to embrace them.

Note I said embrace, not accept or tolerate. From the gays to the racists to the terrorists, it isn't enough that the world would let them go their own way and the majority of the population go its own way, most groups with an agenda are bent on forcing thier minority views on the population at large. If gays kept their gay ways to themselves, and racists preached their hate only in their clubs, and religious radicals kept their terror in their own borders, we would have alot less trouble in the world.

Control your own life and let others govern their's, you'll be alot happier.

You ask, now here is my answers (get out your bible).

! Cor 10:23-24 with emphasis on 24

Same sex relationships are forbidden in the Old Testaments to the Jews. It says nothing (and I mean nothing) about Christians.

Go back to 1 Cor 10:23-24.

God loves his/her/its children. It does not say that God loves his/her/its children as long as the sexual preference is the opposite sex. Show me in the New Testament where anyone talks about sexual preference.

Last point: Only God judges, so stop speaking for him/her/it; God does not need any help.

This is what the Christian bible states.

They're trolling. Those that behave this way do it simply to get a rise out of people. You can try reporting them for abuse since such activity goes against Yahoo community guidelines, but another troll will simply take their place. You, I and the rest of the evolved know that homosexuality is quite normal and natural. Best to ignore the trolls.
