that's a very good point. i think God calls us to pray for everyone. and tho it's hard, and you may disagree with them, i think it's important to pray for them that if it's God's will, His light will shine in their hearts that they may enjoy peace and love.

Love in Him,

happy

I see that you are a Christian since you have expressed the hope that they will understand your predicament. While your hope is understandable it is not entirely true. I am a Christrian and even if I am not a devout Christian I had always felt a nausea for Jewsforthe role they played in gettign Jesus crucified. However, this is more am emotional reaction. I know is is not rational to hold such things, which may or may not be true and even if true a judgement on them should be passed in the context of circumstamces tjem [prevailing.

However, even as a rational modern man I have never been able to digest the whole drama of Israel formation. While I am quite aware of the persecution faced by the Jews for years and am quite sympathetic to their earnest hope for a homeland I have never understood the insistence of resteeling them in the same land from which they were driven away ages ago, the only authority for this claim being their religious treatises. But thenthis has happened with many populations throghout ages.Do you know that towards the end of the Second World War some responsible Jewish leaders had drawn up a plan to settle Jews in Africa at the mouth of the Nile. The land had been selected and approved and was also available. The scheme has also approval of USA,,England and the West. But then what went wrong was never known.Suddenly this talk of settling them in the land of their forefathers got momentum and the rest is history.Even presuming theJewish version of their history is t rue(all religions will of course claim that their scriptures is the word of god) it is doubtful whether the then Palestines were the people who were responsible in throwing them out .Because in historical times, especially in the Middle East, there has been a continjuous game of 'move on' succeeding conquerer pushing the people there further on.However, a watchdog like Israel in the Middle East was politrically convenient to the West they gave their blessing to the proposals. It is interesting to note that Soviet Russia who was initially opposed tothe proposal was the first country in the world to give official recognition to the State of Israel.

Now if the Jewiosh action was in order what was wrong with Japan who at the time had entered the war with the express and unabashed claim for leberstraum for its burgeoning population. It has already enslavede Korea and parts pf China. Nobody says Japan was justified but then why spare the Jews especially when an alternate land was available and also agreed upon.

When this is the case are not the Hamas(Palestanian Arabs)a right to protest ? The poor Lebanese were within their own borders. It is obvious that with this continued partiality shown to Israel some Arabs had organised protestss but Arab nations by and large have made with Israel. However, Israel is never sure that its borders will not be violated and is on the lookout for sending out punishing expeditions. The Gasa Arabs and theLebaneseArabs are at the receiving end.

Do you still think you should hold back your prayers so far as Hamas and the Lebrnese are concerfned. In fact, if I were you and believed in god I would have offered special prayers for them. Look carefully thebattle is raging on the land where the battle of battles which will destroy the world would be founght(according to the Bible) stands The Armagedon..

Sorry, not a christain, though my ex wife was catholic and both our kids are.
You should pray for the end of conflict and for the safety and health of those who are innocent. Leave Israel, Lebanon, Hamas, Hezbollah out of it.

What in specific are you praying for Hezbollah and Hamas? That they change their unholy ways? Sure hope so.

Yes dear you are right, you should pray for Hezbollah, Hamas , and Bin ladan, the Lord JESUS should touch every one. The Bible says, what good is there if you love only those who love you, pray for those who hate you, bless those who persecute you.

i am not a christian but i think your prayers are for the innocent people who are caught up in this stupid childish games. i believe that bigger powers are screwing around with this whole situation.
hey if there is no war in this world , then some countries econmy will die. as for hamas and hezbollah, they believe they are freedom fighters, try walking in their shoes, you will stumble like them as well. isrealies have their terror groups as well. the world media does not report it. one of them is the stren gang. they still exist and are working covertly with the cia and mossad to cause problems all over. this done to control the mid east oil. think about it.

You could be selfish. Why would a resistence be considered terrorism. Afterall, it is Israel who victimizes thousands of Palestenians and Lebanese everyday, not the other way around. If you wanna have a clear concience, you have to look into the facts not what they inject in your mind to make you believe in em..

You aren't bad. I understand why you don't want to pray for them. But remember: Jesus said to love our enemies, do good to those who hate us and pray for those who persecute us. These folks need us to pray that God will deal with their hearts, that they will see Him for who He is, and pursue peace as the Scriptures also tell us. Blessings, sister!

Perhaps pray that all see the wonder and glory of God and accept and follow Christ as their Savior, that they may know Him and follow in his footsteps, renounce their evil ways and repent their sins...........

before they find out the hard way that there are no 70 virgins for slayers of innocents. even infidel innocents

Well both Judaism and Islam are part of the same basic set of religions. We all have the same god. So basically you are praying for one of your brothers and not your other.
