Take a warm bath with some lavender scented soap or bubble bath, drink a glass of warm milk with a little bit of honey in it, and try to go to bed before 10 PM and get up before 6 AM is the best cycle for sleeping. My only problem has been that summer has thrown me of that cycle since it stays light outside later!

For your body - slowing down for an hour or so before bedtime will help you unwind and prepare for sleep.
For your mind - writing your thoughts in a diary or mentally reviewing the day as you prepare for bed help you regroup and prepare your mind for sleep as well.
For your spirit - praying will prepare you to rest completely from the inside out and wake up ready for a new day.

I find it helpful for me of course to have some lite meditative music on. Also with that a stress breathing exercise. Breath in through your nose, and hold for a few seconds and release in a controlled way through your mouth. Do that three times and see if it relaxes you at least. Good luck, to a good nights sleep!

Drink some warm milk. I usually put on some real calm music...I prefer instrumental and lay in the dark with some candle light while listening to that....it should calm you down and allow you to rest easily.
