This would have to be done at the moment or right after death in order to ensure that all of the memories and experiences are preserved...

I like to use Ouija boards, though admittedly I get a lot of self-proclaimed "demons" by such means. In all honesty, Ouija boards are entertainment and nothing else as the "answers" to questions you may ask are rarely accurate.
