If not, does that make him/her/it real? If so, does that make you a polytheist. In turn, if you admit to being a polytheist, are you also a heritic.

My question is based on what many Christians deem as "logic". I want to know how or why my "God" is or isn't real based on this logic scheme.

Check my definitions if you must, but they are indeed solid. So lets avoid a war of symantics and get down to the "nitty gritty".

Please, no impertinent Bible quotes.

I've assumed you'll understand. My "God" is not the Judeau God.

Actually "nihil", my question is perfectly phrased. Read it with care.

Okay, my "God" goes by the name of Thor. He is all powerfull. Why is or isn't he any more or less real than Jesus's Father?

I hope that cleared some things up.

The question is... can you prove he does? We don't have to prove a negative. Whoever makes a statement that something exists should prove it.

There are 2 options for Gods. There is the True ONE and there is the False One. The false one because he is false, can masquerade as any god or power or etc he wants to.....

Th True God does not masquerade. He is who He is, who He always was and always will be. He is the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last and His ways are never changing.

Now, you decide, which catergory your god falls into....you know it is said that even the devil can appear as an angel of light....he will deceive you into believing that what you "think" is true. God even says that we should not use logic to figure Him out.

Edit: Thor would fall under false.....why? because Thor has not ever done a thing for me...God, the Father, has done much for me.

Sure your god is real.
Does it mean that he or whatever it is, is the The One True God?
nope, just one of many that are out there...
That is why there is the commandment
"Thou shall have no other gods before Me."

I am not sure what part of your question you are still trying to figure out. Several people have told that your god is real. Not doing as much for your as my God will, but real just the same.
I am not a polytheist, nor am I a heretic. I know that the Word says, there are many gods we can choose to follow. It's the consequences that we have to accept, when we follow that god.

God reveals, man observes. Proof is man's observation; it is based on the scientific method, and unfortunately science can not proof or prove the existence of God.

God reveals, man observes. What does God reveal. Christians believe the bible to be God's words as spoken through the prophets. In the bible, God is spirit, etc. Man must believe the revelation. Moreover there is no proof the God exists in the bible, it is assumed.

Apply logic to revelation is a straw hat logical argument. It just doesn't work. You are using technique of one belief system and apply it to another. For example, God exists before and created everything we know. This is a belief, and to my knowledge man can not observe beyond the physical.

OK I have written enough. You definitions are based on reveal knowledge; your use of scientific method does not apply to your definitions, and finally this isn't about semantics, it is about belief systems: God's and man's.

God has many faces and many voices, but there is only one God. Chances are it's the same across the board. Just because some people like to play like their god is better than someone elses god takes away from the true nature of god. That's human nature I guess, even when we're kids, I remember children saying their daddy can beat up someone elses daddy, same principle.

Didn't you know? The Christian God is the best one! All the other Gods are made up, fake, etc, etc. Their God is the only Real Dude.

I'm with you though. Thor is the Great Provider, Thor is my master. Thursday is our Holy Day!

The burden of proof makes your question irrelevant. It isn't up to theists (or indeed atheists) to demonstrate that some deity does not exist, but for whoever proposes the deity to provide reason to believe it does.

Perhaps your question is ill-phrased.

EDIT: It's perfectly phrased? So it's simply a non-issue then?

If you're a Christian, then why would He not know that the earth goes around the sun, rather than the other way around? After all, he's all powerful and all knowing right? Do you see the conflict?

Your God does not exist.

No, I can't prove your "god" doesn't exist, that's why I'm not going to have atheistic "faith" that believes that your god doesn't exist. In fact, I actually believe that your god does exist.

And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 2 Corinthians 4:3-4

God DOES exist. God says in the bible to test Him and prove Him. So if u do not believe, say a little prayer to God and ask him to show and prove Himself to you and by his grace, He will
