Yummy! Campbells Tomato Soup, and Grilled Cheese Sandwich. BUT you have to use Kraft Singles!!

I like using American & Swiss together when I make mine. Very tasty!

Add a little hot sauce in your soup, and... taa-daa! Perfection!

This was a very standard lunch when I was a child. The tomato soup was made with milk (or half milk and half water), and the grilled cheese was all squishy and fun to pull apart, and it was very engaging food for a little kid. We used to put croutons in the soup, too, or those little oyster crackers. I think goldfish crackers would be even better, but I was already too old and sophisticated for that by the time goldfish crackers were invented.

You know, I may just buy some tomato soup next time I go shopping. You've reminded me of a happy time.

I love that, but there's something even better I like with tomato soup. Popcorn. Yeah, popcorn. Don't butter it, don't put salt on it, just the real stuff, eat with plain with your plain tomato soup.
It's excellent - try it. Put it in the soup, eat it alongside, or both.
Low in calories, Satisfying (filling with tomato soup), just a great lunch. A nice break from today's overseasoned salty fattening lunches that ruin your dinner.
