No. It says that if and when we are called upon to judge, remember we are judged by the measure we judge. Within the church we are to settle matters by judgment one on one, one with witnesses of two or three, and then before the church. So it's not judgment that is wrong, it is the motive of judgment that is wrong.

Joh 5:22 For neither does the Father judge any man: but hath given all judgment to the Son.
Joh 5:23 That all men may honour the Son, as they honour the Father. He who honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father who hath sent him.
Joh 5:24 Amen, amen, I say unto you that he who heareth my word and believeth him that sent me hath life everlasting: and cometh not into judgment, but is passed from death to life.
Joh 5:25 Amen, amen, I say unto you, that the hour cometh, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
Rev 22:12 Behold, I come quickly: and my reward is with me, to render to every, man according to his works.
Rev 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that wash their robes in the blood of the Lamb: that they may have a right to the tree of life and may enter in by the gates into the city.
Rev 22:15 Without are dogs and sorcerers and unchaste and murderers and servers of idols and every one that loveth and maketh a lie.

It doesn't matter what the bible says....it's a man-made book. Who says that God wants to judge...and even if God wanted to judge, who's going to question Him? Now watch all the fanatics quote chapters and verses.

Really. Do you have a verse for that statement?
The Christian bible states that only God can judge a person, definitely not man. This is significantly different from you questoin. It merely saying for us, don't judge. Because this is something that only God can do.

We are a part of God
There for we Judge ourselves when the time is right
We are our own Judge, Jury, and Prosecutor !
That is why some people say
They are going to heaven
And other say they are going to Hell
It is our choice : )

1)Judge not lest ye be judged.
2)Let he that is without sin cast the first stone
and on, and on....yes, we are in NO position to know God's will, regardless of who tells you what in church. Only fanatics misconstrue the bible to fit their own agenda. I see many ignorant people here in the US falling for this lunacy...seems everyone is looking for an excuse to hate someone, and the Christian churches are leaping into the breach. Nice faith, eh?

I note that you got a lot of answers from ax-grinders who know nothing about Christianity, or Judaism , and the ones that want to quote out of context. As a matter of fact, the leaders of the Isrealites were Judges.

if you judge in the sense of saying someone is going to hell, that is not your place, nor can you know that
but if you judge by saying the things another person is doing are wrong and then tell them, and you are not being a hypocrite about it, then you would be enlightening them to their wrongdoing (some do not want to hear) and you would be seeing the consequences of it. (Thus avioding it yourself, with God's help.)

it depends on the meaning of judge that you are using....since Jesus said in Matthew 7
Judge not lest ye be judged...which is to say condemn not lest ye be condemned...
Another meaning in John ..Jesus said judge righteous judgment....which is to discern......in any event every Christian should know it is forbidden to condemn ..yet if I were to tell a man that he is not saved and needs Jesus that is not condemnation...that is discerning...if I were to say a person is going to die and go to hell because of their wrong doing..I would be totally in the wrong...and need to ask forgiveness...
Always remember that the bible was written in hebrew and Greek..so there are several applications ..you must seek the Lord for the right one...God bless
