Go to Japan! I'm serious- if it's in your means go to Japan. If you're a student go to Japan for some study abroad. Or if you can, do lots of shopping in an area of town where there's lots of Japanese. Or make friends with someone who speaks Japanese. But you should really just up and go if you have nothing tying you down like children. Hey, if you're taking up something as adventurous as learning a new language, just go straight to the source! Spend time around Japanese people, or watch Japanese movies. You've got to put yourself around it if you want to learn it well.
