I know what an atheist is. It is someone who does not have a belief in a god or gods. It's fairly simple.
I'm not sure what this game of "follow the hater" is. Since an atheist does not hate by definition, I'm guessing that atheists are not playing "follow the hater." There are atheists, Christians, Hindus, etc., who all hate others. But I wouldn't say any one group is exclusively a hater nor do they follow haters.
That is, if I understand what this game is.

Do YOU know what an Atheist is, to begin with? An Atheist is a free thinker, who knows that you cannot believe in something, just because people have been repeating it, like parrots, without any proof. Did the fact that most people thought the world was flat and the sun went round it, make THAT happen? No. I'm looking forward to the time when religions are proved wrong and deceiving. But I'm afraid it's not going to happen in my lifetime. Too bad after I die everything is over for me.

I don't know where you get the idea that because someone doesn't believe in deities that means they play "follow the hater".
I imagine that if religious Fundies didn't presume to constantly push their beliefs on others and use their holy books as cudgels they'd not encounter hostility quite so much. Atheists don't hate the Fundy ... they hate the smug arrogance and willful ignorance of the Fundy.

Yes. an atheist is someone who doesn't believe in God. I'm a Buddhist, along with hundreds of millions worldwide (more than follow Christianity), and all Buddhists are atheists. We're also very loving, peaceful people. Don't assume that you're always right about your philosophy, and it's immature to insult atheists just because they think differently than you. Your God would not approve of your judging us, why don't you actually read the Bible sometime and pick up on that part? It's sort of important.

I know exactly what an athiest is. While I'm more agnostic than atheistic, I believe in being knowledgable about many different aspects, so I can choose the best for me. Just because someone is an athiest doesnt mean they are haters.

Hater? who said anything about hate? Do you know what athiesm really is?
We do not believe in ANY GOD! thats it.. RELIGION is a personal choice, a belief something based on faith.. I personally chose to put my faith in my partner, family and friends, the ones who I dont need to close my eyes to ask for help and imagine someone is there.. The ones that when I do need help, they are right there by my side ready!
Ill ask you your question now.. To all Christians.. Do you know exactly what a christian is or are you just playing a game of follow the idiot?

An atheist is someone who doesn't believe in a creator. The atheist, ironically, can be closer to the real God because they've rejected all the made-up gods that are constructed from the way our human thought system works. A god that is judgmental, believes in, hell, and guilt, is a made-up ego god and hides the real god of Love. Most don't want unconditional love (like the 'good' son in the Prodigal Son parable) and, so, they make up their own image of god and put it into a bunch of books and treat it as truth.

You really ought to educate yourself, but I'm in a good mood, so consider this a lesson in word origins. Atheist comes from the Greek word Theos, which means 'God' or 'Deity'. 'A' before the word means 'without' , thus the word, atheist means a person without God.
