There may be no treatment to overcome a fear of death. It may help to get the most out of life as possible. Do as many things as you can to make yourself happy. You'd be surprised how much you can get out of the little things in life that you never notice. Attatch yourself to those that you love as well as the things you love. Perhaps make a list of things that you want to accomplish in your life (reasonable things) and take some time out of your schedule to do each one. You only live once, so why not enjoy it while you live it? It is quite natural to fear death. I'm sure 100% of people have feared death at one point in their life. So your fear is quite normal.

The only thing you have to fear is fear itself. We all think about death, what might come afterwards. The thing is not to dwell on it. Death is just a part of life. A big way to get over phobia/fears is to turn it around into something positive....in this case not much could come out of death. The best thing to do is try to understand that it is natural and is a part of life.

Sorry dear, there's no way to get away from death in this world. It's everywhere. You can lie to yourself and lead an extremely sheltered life, but I can't think that's healthy either. Get some help from a qualified shrink, and I wish you the best of luck.

I don't like dead things and I have no fear of dying. I rest my faith in my ability to live in God's loving arms.

To many that may seem like a cop out, but it's a belief and it brings me as much comfort as the fear that consumes you brings you unrest.

You must believe in you. God can help but you must ask him in, he doesn't just dynamite his way in, come hell or high water - so to speak.

The dead cannot hurt you and with God in your life you will not fear death.

Other than this I can't help you. If you have friends that you are close to perhaps you can share your fears with them and perhaps they can comfort you.

well you just have to think, almost meditate on this idea, WE all will die someday, there is no way to tell when it will be, where it will be or how you will die. What is the point in worrying? Why fear something that is going to happen either way? why not, NOT fear it, and enjoy life as it is, instead of fear life becuase of your fear of death?

It is not easy to do. This is a deep embedded fear and needs to be addressed in the proper fashion. You need to change your thinking by learning to catch yourself in mid thought and changing it to something more positive. IE change your self talk. If you really want to beat this then you can buy a self help book on self talk and or see a councilor.

Unless you run across bodies on a regular basis, this shouldn't be a huge problem. They don't posess the ability to hurt you (that DEAD thing kinda takes that out of them) so there really isn't much to be afraid of.
