Which isn't judgemental, which does not exclude, which preaches love and understanding, which helps others, which does not try to dominate your personal life, which is peaceful, which does not try to force itself onto other people?

I am interested in finding a religion to follow(maybe) but i am turned off by these ultra-religious, conservitive, anti-homosexual, anti-evoultion, follow us or you deserve to die kind of religions/people.

Are there any out there or am i out of luck?

all religions contains all such traits and values and fundamentals. it's how one follows it, how one understands it, how one enjoys it. no one can claim theirs is the best, yet everyone does it. don't find it, don't seek for it... follow your heart, follow your faith, what you believe in, what you value, what you feel, what would suit your ideals... in the end, all are one in believing what is within one's faith is best for themselves.

Well It isnt really a religion, but it does all those things you stated above and it has been a part of my life since I was born and I have lived by the principles of it... Girl Guides or Boy Scouts...

Many a man realised then, for the first time, that though he had been taught at school as one of a herd, preached to in church as one of a herd, drilled in the army as one of a herd, he was really a single being having his own existance, his own conciousness, and his own soul, and he might even now at any moment have these taken from him by death. It disturbed him to feel that he had no exact spiritual comfort to turn to and to take hold of. He knew little of religion and God - yet he wanted something of that sort - he knew not what. Then he saw the Scout law and he read it over, and again he read it over, and though it out. Here was something that he could carry out and it looked like doing him good. So he came and asked if he could "sign on to that" He felt that if he carried out its instructions as far as he could, he would at least have the comfort of knowing that before he died he had tried to do his best, and no man could do more than that.

Ernest Renan, French historian and religious scholar

“Jesus was the greatest religious genius that ever lived. His beauty is eternal, and his reign shall never end. Jesus is in every way unique, and nothing can be compared to him.”

Famous Napoleon bonarparte quotes about Jesus Christ:
“His religion is a revelation from an intelligence which is certainly not that of a man.”

“I know men; and I tell you Jesus Christ is not a man. Superficial minds see a resemblance between Christ and the founders of empires, and the gods of other religions. That resemblance does not exist.”

“There is between Christianity and whatever other religion the distance of infinity.”

You will find no religion to meet these standards you desire - but there is a relationship that will meet these standards and that is with Jesus Christ - however, as you choose to be in a relationship with him, you may find you also change some of the standards you desire to adhere too.

You have basically stated the epitome of humanity by birth, which is forsaken and will live eternally separated in hell from God. That is not the option. The option is to choose the relationship, which again is not a religion at all.

There are 26,000 denominations. Get real. There are no short cuts to the straight and narrow path to heaven. Go "Old School " Catholic is the hard- core way to go. No shortcuts or left out parts of scripture. Straight up sacred tradition and college level of study needed. Not for ******* or cheaters. 2000 years and still the Universal Body of Christ on earth. The path to the truth is a very individual decision. Not everyone will find the same way.

For me, many of the questions you asked were answered by the Baha'i Faith. Do a google search on it if you want to find out more.

Don't follow people---follow God. He will lead you down the righteous path.

All religion must have something to judge. Or it's just chaos and lawlessness, like anarchy.

Do you think it's okay to rape? murder? steal?

You could try Uintarian Universalists if you feel you must have a religion, but freethought is better still.

I believe you are out of luck..
All religions want you to believe in something
and follow what they believe to be a proper code of conduct.
