theres probably a wal mart in ann arbor they always have cheap clocks that look nice maybe 10 dollars or under but if u just want a clock to have a clcok and not to look nice then get a plastic one from the dollar store or ikea in canton they have a really cheap one that is okay looking

Any thrift,second hand store, Salvation Army, or Goodwill store. With last 2 mentioned you would have to check around though as they are donated items and resold to public for low prices.

Radio shack sells great alarm clocks for about $10. they are digital, easy to set and have a 9V battery in case of a power failure (unless you need that excuse to be late for work).

i would make your own! it may cost a little more... but fun!
but if not go to dollar genreal or dollar tree!! i know there is one in ann arbor my the hospital! somewhere!
