The ones who truly follow it are the terrorists & the ones who do not are the vast majority of muslims.
There are any number of verses in the Quran that clearly exort muslims towards Jihad, terrorism & violence. Terrorists are simply those who follow the Quran in letter & spirit.
While muslims quote verses from the quaran which call for peace, these verses are far outnumbered by those which call for fighting & violence. What do you feel?

In case people do not know Islamic history, let me tell you that there has been terrorism in Islam practically since the death of Mohammad. NO other religion in the world has such a steady record of Terrorism.

shkthi.. that is your interpretation (which is basically derived from sufism). Ask any Islamic scholar for his. Incidentally Sufis are not considered "true" muslims by mainstream muslim scholars.

oldman- I agree with what you say. The quran may talk about killing enemies. Unfortunately these can ALSO include other muslims. The proof is before you in the Shia Sunni killings in Iraq, Pakistan etc. etc.
Incidentally the Shia Sunni killings before the USA occupation were much worse. Just check up on Saddam's trial.

drutazo - The whole country of Tibet was invaded & has been occupied by the Chinese. Did the Tibetians retaliate by killing innocent Chinese who only crime was that they were Chinese?
6 million Jews were killed by the Germans in World War 2. Did the Jews kill even one German civilian in retaliation or burn one church even later on.
The native Red Indians in the USA have been displaced from their original lands. How many have turned towards terrorism....................
Don’t you agree that in these cases also the attackers were all powerful and the attacked were very weak. So why do ONLY muslims turn towards terrorism cutting across countries & races. Do you know that 16% of the muslims polled recently in England were sympathetic towards terrorists.

Islamic terrorism is inspired by Islamic teachings. We can never get rid of Islamic terrorism unless we defeat the ideology behind it and that is Islam itself. Islam induces hate backed by lies. Muhammad was a terrorist by his own admission. All Muslims, to the extent that they follow him, are terrorists. Those Muslims who are not terrorists are ignorant of Islam and are not good Muslims. Fortunately they are the majority. We need to rescue them. If you are a good human being, you are not a Muslim. I feel that terrorists have no religion .. its the foremost point where as verses from the quran terrorists do not quote verses from the holy quran they talk in arabic there is no such verse in the holy quran that evokes terrorism .. why dont you read the translation of the holy book and check it out for yourself .. if your talking about terrorism since the death of the prophet .. well what bout those terrorists that who have been corrupting the world buy selling drugs weapons child trafficking prostitution extortion money rackets political scandals and etc ... i guess they have a religion too .. these so called muslim terrorists do not even follow their religion ..they use religion as a tool .. if you read about islam and its history from the time adam and eve till this time islam has never used force .. those crusades and jihads during those times have a reason ..because everything in this world has a reason behind it ,, our existence has a reason ... terrorism doesnt follow any religion thats the bottomline

Islam, alot like Christianity, has and will have violence. Similar to the Holy Wars, those people interpreted the bible the wrong way and shed blood for it. Now, Islam's Quran does mention Jihad, but it in no way refers it to be used against Christians or Jews. Why!? you may ask...Well, if you follow those three religions, they all stem from one another. First was Judaism, then Christianity, then Islam. They all have similar rules/laws/commandements to live by. Christians took the commandment, "Thou Shall Not Worship/Idolizw False Gods", and completely took that out of context with the Holy Wars of the 11th-16th centuries. Islam has been given a bad name by the people that take Jihad out of it's context. All Jihad is is a call to fight those who impose against Islam, which neither Christianity or Judaism is doing.

You are so full of crap. Where the Quran speaks about killing. it is in the context of killing their enemies. Their enemies are not all infidels. Their enemies are those who fight against Islam Those who will not allow Muslims to live in peace. I know what it says and if you don't read it in the spirit in which it was written it does sound the way you're saying. Too bad so many people, such as yourself, want to understand it wrong. Yeah, I think Muslims ignore the verses that tell them to "cut the infidel's heads off", which would obviously make them disobedient muslims. So I agree with you, the terrorists are the ones who obey the quran's verses that call for a jihad. Muslims are kidding themselves when they call Islam a religion of "peace". Actions speak louder than words.

I think that religion is just a religion that terrorists hide behind. I truely believe that the Quran does call for peace and love but others distort it and use if for their own needs and purposes no different from the crusaders and Christians.

You could say the same thing about the Christian Bible, my dear.
There are many, many verses in the Bible that involve killing and enslavement, when God is portrayed as a vengeful and angry being and his followers are merciless, but they aren't practiced--and any Christian would look at you funny if you implied that they weren't being a good Christian by avoiding those teachings.
There are extemists and terrorists of every religion, in every culture.

Well, I agree mostly, but I think that a great number of Muslims, even the seemingly peaceful ones, can still be carrying hatred inside. The terrorists that came to USA were told to live as Americans....those they met thought they were nice....it can be very deceiving....like all lies and the Father of Lies, is.....Satan.
