I don't know how that question belongs under family lol...but no it's not the same. Praying you thanking for everything and asking for help. Begging you are usually just wanting something not worth while.

Begging is wanting something so badly.

Praying is asking for it but realizing that you'll have to learn how to live with or without it.

well i like to think when ive had to much to drink and im riding the porcelin bus that its still classed as praying, but then again "please god stop me from spewing and ill never drink again" does seem to sound like a beg.......
