I would like to download some Christian music, but I don't have the money to buy a bunch of songs. However, being a Christian, I don't want to illegally download them either. Anybody know of a place where I can legally download free Christian music? Thanks for your help, and God bless!! :D

Yeah, go to the Free Stuff page on my web site @ http://web.express56.com/~bromar/ and click the Music jump button at the top to move you down to the right section. I've got quite a few links there that are just what you're looking for.

www.apologetix.com

ApologetiX is a Christian parody band (meaning, they take secular songs, and put Christian lyrics to them. For example, Linkin Park's "In The End" becomes "Corinthians" [a song detailing 1 Cor. 13], or the B-52's "Love Shack" becomes "Meshach" [about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego's trials in the fire]).

They do all genres, from Country ["Good News Bookie"/"Boot Scoot Boogie"] to Alternative ["Casket Place"/"Basket Case"] to Heavy Metal ["Enter Samson"/"Enter Sandman"] to 50's ["La Bible"/"La Bamba"], to Rap ["Look Yourself"/"Lose Yourself"], to Southern Rock ["Choirboy"/"Cowboy", "Bad Dude Risin"/"Bad Moon Risin"], and are one of my favorite bands. They offer free downloads of their songs, and they often rotate what songs are offered, so check back monthly as a few songs that weren't offered before might be then.

KLOVE (a Christian music radio station) is having a free summer music giveaway, I think. Well, that's what I hear when i am listening. Their website is www.klove.com and every week they have like 2 songs you can download for free.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has some music that you can download:

http://www.lds.org/cm/display/0,17631,4996-1,00.html

Or, for the Seminar Students and you can freely download some MP3's from:

http://www.ldsces.org/new/beta/Seminary%20mp3.asp

You can listen to them to see if any are the songs you want.

Why don't you go down to the thrift store? There are usually lots of christian CDs, tapes and records that can be bought for very little money.

nope. christian music will never be free, as the music is not truly christian, but rather: insidiously commercial.
