I had my wisdom teeth out last week Wednesday...?

Almost a week ago I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. I'm still experiencing as much pain as I was the day I got them out. It's not just a little bit of pressure it's full on pain. I've also been having headaces everyday because of the pain. I feel it most in my lower jaw. I don't have an appointment go see my oral surgeon until this upcoming Friday. I was just wondering how long it took everyone else for the pain to go away.

It depends. I had mine pulled instead of cut out. I really didn't have much pain at all. I'm wondering if your oral surgeon prescribed any pain medications for you at all. If not you should give them a call and request some pain meds. Being you say it's pain and pressure it does sound like a dry socket. If you can get in before Friday it would probably be beneficial to you.

You shouldn't be experiencing pain after a week. You need to request an immediate appointment with the surgeon; there is likely a problem that needs to be treated.
When I had my teeth pulled out I was told to call immediately if I was in pain so they could treat it.

That sounds normal to me because it was what I experienced also. If some of your teeth were embedded closer to your jaw bone, then there is some extra pain. Hope it goes away for you soon.

Been there. It took a little less than a week to start cooling off. I actually broke into my old mans bar and started swigging booze to try to get it to stop.
