I think that if both spouses work and both can cook, then they should share in the responsibilities. If one spouse can only make food that borders on being a toxic substance, though, he/she shouldn't have to cook:)

nope she definately does not need to cook, either it should be a shared thing both husband and wife share the cooking or if husband is unwilling cook/make meal just for yourself. When husband is hungry enough he will have to cook or order out. ;) I would never ever be a slave cook for anyone especially if I'm working and my husband didn't help cook! It's a marriage 50/50 you're not a slave nor his personal assistant!

A wife does need to cook but not all the time try teaching your husband how to cook and maybe go out to eat every once in awhile!!!!!!

It depends on the marriage. Some husbands prefer to do the cooking, some wives, like me feel like they should do the majority of the cooking. A friend of mine hardly ever cooks for her husband and he has told his brother that he feels like she doesn't care enough about him to cook, he works a 12 hr a day job and she tells him he's a big boy to do it hisself. I personally believe that the woman should cook for her husband.

It really depends on your marriage, to some husbands its not needed, however for some others, like mine, working wife and mom, it is needed, my husband doesnt cook very well and my daughters would not eat!

I think a wife should cook and if she works then plan the meal ahead. It's not hard.

Not me. I'm not interested. But I do dishes & clean kitchen afterwards. My husband prepares our meals. He learned to cook after retirement and has been doing it since. He is more interested in foods and prepares tastier, more creative and interesting meals for us.

My husband just said, if no one cooks, all your money goes to the restaurants -- he's been there yrs ago.

Not at all. A wife should be a real good looking and sexually active partner for her man.

They can always eat out at a resturant.

i think the question is does she want to? i work full time, like my man and we share the cooking, i love feeling that i've got home and made him a really good dinner, i'm proud of it, and i don't feel he doesn't pull his weight as the next day or the next he cooks.
Everyones just gotta pull their weight!
