First you need to become appointed with an insurance company to take your insurance examination. You must have a Managing General Agent sponsor you before they'll let you take the test. After that you can work via the internet. There are plenty of resources for marketing insurance online. I work as an MGA in CA, what state are you in?

Easiest way is to start working for a local agency - HOWEVER, it's really not a "work from home" kinda job - you need to be available during regular business hours for clients.

I've been doing it for 20+ years, and I'd LOVE to work from home, but the only company that I know does it, well, they work you to DEATH on it! And I don't want to put in 60-80 hour weeks at home.
