There are talks in the Bible about famine will happen before the world comes to an end. But many other stuff will happen along with the famine. Read Revelations when you have a chance.
You can even take cue from Mormans and store can food to make famine less bad. But just keep up with the expiration dates.

If I am not mistaken, it sounds like people are going to enjoy end of world more than to try and reverse it and save some innocent lives.
If that's what the bible or "God" teaches, then no thanks.
Isn't somewhere out there that there is a Christian Children Fund calling for donations that you should be writing a check to just about now? I guess that's all for nothing too. Pity... You are so sure about going to heaven huh?

Food shortages would be a sign that there has been a drought, or civil war, or bad government, or bad infrastructure (preventing food from being processed, packaged, and transported), or one of numerous and multiple unfortunate events.

I would say a food shortage somewhere in this world today is a sign that compassion is lacking elsewhere.

no, high gas prices!!.. it takes trucks extra money to ship food to the store, the store passes those extra charges on to you.
food shortages will be a part of the tribulation though, the Bible says that a week's wages for a piece of bread" I can't imagine how bad the economy will be in those days!

On whole, the world is better fed today than it has ever been before in history. If this is a sign of the end, the end looks bright.

The be conscious parousia comes from the be conscious pareimi, this is in the present stressful, and ability to be close to, handy or recent. Parousia is used in the context right here, as being a destiny experience; a return, or coming. you're using a translation different than the authorized version. in the authorized version, this be conscious is translated properly as "coming". If the version which you're using isn't from the Textus Receptus (the won text cloth), then it isn't the be responsive to God.

A sign to go grocery shopping, and to those who are far from the nearest supermarket, a time for others to show their humanity, and help do the shopping for them!
