my 9 years old son has been experiencing excessive sweating even with the smallest activity. this is not due to the hot weather that we have been having in california. he has been like this ever since i can remember. he is 4feet and 6 inches tall and weighs 105 pounds. he does not seem overweight but he's not a very active boy. he likes to play video and computer games most of his time. has anyone had this problem and can you please tell me what are some of the reasons that people might experience sweating most of the times. thank you

It could be to nerves or stress, if your really concerned maybe you should take your son to a doctor. Good luck.

My little brother had this same problem when he was a kid. We finally took him to the Dr. for it & the performed a surgery on him where they cut a nerve in his armpit that caused him to sweat so much. He was about 15 or so when they did this procedure, and six years later he is still sweat free. The insurance even covered the procedure & he was only in the hospital a day.

A child that is even somewhat overweight can overheat fairly easy, especially when their out of shape. Some kids just tend to sweat alot, if it's associated with any kind of a fever then you should have him checked out.
