Why are there so many denominations of churches? Because people do not agree 100% with all beliefs, so they split away from their church and start a new one to emphasize their beliefs, which they claim came from God. People like to argue and say that their way is the right way, and they like to say that God told them to do this, that, etc. Some end up being control freaks who tell people what to do and believe, which is hardly harmony.

Mostly they babble in discordia. It's more like arguing over how many angels fit on the head of a pin than anything else.
