I am getting married in August and we are at the last minute looking for a good deal for a honeymoon trip in the Southeast US, does anyone know where I could look? We have a 3 month old and are kinda strapped but want to make this a memorable trip. Our parents have already agreed to watch our daughter.

Hot Springs Arkansas is an overall cool town..Only thing good in lousinianna is Gambling and Mardi Gras. And i think that would get old on a honeymoon pretty soon.. Go camping on the beach somewhere along the coast.. that would be cool..

i live near Fort Desoto State park in St. Pete FL. If you rent a car and stay at an inexpensive in town motel with refrig and microwave you can picnic and swim there free. It is rated one of the 20 best beaches in the world. Nearby are many museums and movies. and miniature gold and all sorts of rental boats, parasailing, water ski rentals and snorking. Dinner cruises and a gambling ship are also available as are some really fine sea food restraurants/

Go to a town outside of Miami where the hotels aren't as expensive,
then drive to Miami, the beach, restaurants.
Go to hotelsbycity.com and see what they offer.
Or go to the Florida Keys. You might find good rates on hotels there if you stay mid-week. It's very romantic !
Congratulations and have a great time ! : )

Charleston, SC is a classic honeymoon destination. Near the beach, and there's a lot to do..or not to do, depending on your priorities. Beautiful city though.

We stayed in a little "cabin" on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Love, Virginia- "cabin" meaning full kitchen, gas fireplace, Jacuzzi...

If you like being up in the mountains, hiking, canoeing, etc., check out B&B's or cabins near the Parkway.

the best place is to have it in miami. you can stay at the beach. when people go out for a dip take their drink when it's late party by the club not in the club because you have no money and trust me people still party out of the club. sleep at the beach because its soft and you can't get a good hotel.

We rented a cabin in Gatlinburg for our honeymoon. It was perfect and not that expensive. We loved it.

Why not stay in a nice hotel in the heart of town. You can go to dinner, see a show, sight see, shop, take a day cruise, visit museums....
