I assume that you have no prior skill with the boomerang and are un-licensed to use such a deadly weapon. It would be wise to wear shoulder pads, hip pads, a foot-ball helmet, and a mouth-guard...we need not be concerned about the arms or legs are they are easily amputated or set in a plaster cast. Now that I have teased you enough, the boomerang takes practice to make it arc, but they are normally used to strike an animal without returning. They are an aerodynamic missile. One of my mates from Perth could hit a rabbit from about 50 paces but the boomerang simply struck the animal and didn't return.

That depends on the distance between you and I, the power in which you threw the boomerang, the weight of the boomerang, and the current wind speed.
If you are not a practiced thrower, I would have to say neither.

If you actually know how to wield the boomerang then it will definitely hit your mark. One thing is for sure, it will come back to your general vicinity if it doesn't hit anyone or anything. Unless you threw it had enough that it would ricochet.

Assuming you are a female, if you threw a boomerang at me it would hit your cat on the porch behind you.

The Aboriginals had both hunting Boomerangs,
and "recreational" or "fun" Boomerangs that came back.
The former are quite deadly and accurate...so...what kind are you
throwing at me???!!!???!!!
Good Luck

Depends on how good you are at throwing it.
When I throw a boomerang, it usually hits a tree. o_0
