Yes. There are some car auctions that do not require you to have a license, but they sell beaters that are barely running. The auctions where dealers get their cars to put on lots require a dealers license to attend.

It's up to the individual auction house. Some are open to the public and others are dealer only. Call and ask. Or just check their ad in the Yellow Pages. It will usually say.

ifs a public auction then no if its a car dealer auction then yes
