If someone offered you some free gum or food or water or services or something, or served you in some way, and said they were with a local church and trying to show you God's love in a practical way, how would you respond?

i'd probably say thank you, and even if i didn't want to go to church, i'd still stick around to hear what they had to say.

I would accept gum like the gum found in "To kill a mockingbird", or at least I once thought so. It always sounded great! As for God's love, that is hardly a practical form of showing his infinite love.

I would take it as an attempt by the church to (ULTIMATELY) get my money AND STEAL MY SOUL! EeeeeeK! If the christian religion is so great, they should not have to rely on ploys and tricks to gain people's attention!

I know that really they're just trying to recruit someone to their brand of religion. My views on such topics are not open to "debate" with strangers.

i remember when i sprained my wrist a couple years ago i had an ace bandage on and i was n walmart waiting for my aunt to come out of the bathroom. an older woman came up to me and asked if she could pray from me. i attended church and prayed on occasion but i wasnt really well i dont know wat to call it but u get wat im sayin. i said sure. she held my arm and said somthin like lord please let her arm heal...somthin like that. i thought she was crazy but it worked. but now i pray almost every night but sometimes i forget. but when i was n kindergarden i was cheerleading and a man unber the bleachers told my sister and me that he had candy and books but then he TRIED to melest us.
