that when you like someone (mostly females) that you suddenly start to clean out of the blue, like you wouldn't do normally do? For some reason, when I like a person, I do what my family calls "nesting". I clean everything and don't stop 'til it's done perfectly. I especially do this when I'm involved with someone. Is this normal? Why do I do this?

It is quite typical for females to participate in "nesting" when they like someone. You are emotionally thinking about that particular person as a "mate," ie: parent to your children...future children. Don't worry about it, it is perfectly natural and you are only developing extra good housekeeping skills. Have a good night!

If you're like me, it's because you imagine what kind of impression that person will have when they see your apartment- is it the home of a normal, competent adult female, or is it a filthy animal den... in spite of feminism, I think we still feel we need to demonstrate some domestic skills to attract a mate. A second reason is that when you're in love, you're happy, and when you're happy, you have more energy, so you feel like cleaning.

I do that when I get bored. Suddenly everything is awful and filthy and needs to be cleaned NOW! I remember my fiance begging me to come to bed because I was up late cleaning, he finally got me to bed after an hour of begging. :-)
