Squats and Lunges. Those will tone you up... along with always taking stairs.

On some time frame? Why? You on a sports team? Forcing yourself to "super train" can cause injuries, so be kind to yourself. Amino acids and weight-bearing exercises such as the leg press are the best exercises for this.

Sports such as tennis are really good for the legs, if u dont know how to play try jogging, sprinting, and lont distnce running these help burn fat and build muscles. You could also try squats, http://exrx.net/WeightExercises/Quadriceps/BBSquat.html shows how to do them correctly, and eating lean protein will help. Make sure ur healthy enough with ur doc b4 trying that though.

Walk, walk, walk. Walk everywhere you can. Also, when you get tired of that and want to feel the burn try some squats. Make sure that you stretch well before you work-out and after. Good luck, I need to get some exercise myself!
