pop and chips are not healthy for a child to be eating.
as many have mentioned gerber has a decent line of snacks that are in little packs for your diaper bag . they can be a bit pricey for the ammount compared to other things you can get .
i usually carry with me some fruit snacks [you can get different shapes and flavors] , peanutbutter and cheese crackers , i have even found ones with PB&J on them [austin makes several different varieties of these and they are rather cheap], animal crackers , also you can buy small juice boxes with 100% juice .
also keep in mind kids have very small attention spans . maybe she is getting bored out of her mind ! grab a couple new toys and put them in a bag so you can give them to her while out .
kids do better when they have a routine . dont go some where when it is close to nap time or eating time. if you need to go somewhere plan it for after she gets up and eats breakfast , and then come home at lunch time , feed her and give her a nap .
good luck

Take along a diaper-bag with some of her favorite toys in it. Pop is defiantly not good to give a fussy child. Milk with a little cereal will coat her tummy, and slow her down. For a snack try a cereal bar, or a sandwich. The carbs will slow her down as well. She may even take a nap.
All children need a routine. If they have a routine they will generally have better behavior when you do go out. But you have to remember that they need to eat at certain times. They also need Balanced meals. convenience food is nice but it has little nutritional value.
Good luck!

Ok she's obviously tired...or bored...you don't sugar a bored a child...that makes it worse!
I keep the gerber graduates fruit puffs in my car, my chidl is 3 but she still loves them. They also make the dehydrated veggies. She will see them as a snack, you as a mom will see them as nutrition!
Crackers with cheese/peanut butter. I keep snacky foods in my diapter bag in the car even though she doesn't use a diaper bag anymore.
The 100 calorie packs are good too...not as bad as regular cookies, chips and so on.
Also, little juice boxes those things don't have to stay cold, and a thirsty child will drink them...they also make the milk and stuff now that don't have to be refrigerated, my little girl loves that too. Things you can keep on hand in the diaper bag at all times and don't have to worry about them spoiling if she don't eat them that day!

We went through this with my son, who is now 3 1/2. He got to the point that we just couldn't go out anywhere...short trips thats all...lol. It was horrible. Have u tried to get one of those little travel coloring sets? Or even just a pen and paper? that always worked for my son, and it does now for my daughter. i would take it everywhere we went!
