Write. Writing is extremely therapeutic. Say EVERYTHING you wish you could say to everyone and everything that is making you feel angry.
That way, you get the feelings out of your head and onto paper.
Once all the feelings are out and on paper, you can look at what you've written...maybe think about ideal solutions...and write those, too.
The great thing is that you can sleep, knowing that you can revisit those emotions and thoughts the next day...and think some more about solutions and other possibilities.
Sometimes, while writing the problems, the emotions, and possible solutions, you might surprise yourself and find the exact words you were looking for to share with your mom.
Writing saved me time and time again when I was a teenager...I'm 45, now, and writing still serves me the same way. I have filled many journals, and sometimes I go back and reread them and am encouraged by what I have learned along the way.
Good luck!

Don't worry about what they think or how it makes you sound. Just say how you feel because if you don't then no one will know and the issue will not be resolved. The longer you hold anger in the worse it gets. Whenever you have emotions, whether good or bad, let it out and you will be less stressed.

First of all, don't apologize for such a long rant. You needed to get it out, right?
Secondly, you can't deny the fact that your family means a lot to you. If you want to express yourself, do it calmly, without blame. Say she says something about one of your friends. Instead of "You make me angry when you talk trash about Todd", try "I feel angry when you say nasty things about Todd. Could you please express your opinion about him in a more respectful manner?"
I know that it sounds corny, but it really, truly works. Just tell you family how you feel without trying to make them feel bad--be objective. And find a friend that you can vent to--not someone who wants to give you advice. Someone that you can just ramble on and on to until you get it all out of your system and have a clearer head. If you have one, go see your pastor/reverend. If not, try going to see an old high school counselor.
I also offer counseling services, my sn is jeepdrvr1980 if you ever need to talk.

Why would telling your mom you miss her and love her make you sound like a baby? As far as I am concerned it makes you sound human. If you whined and complained and made incomprehensible sounds THEN you would sound like a baby.
Pride be damned. Just go to your mom and talk to her. I'm sure she misses you just as much as you miss her.
