i started to have feelings for a guy that i have known for the longest time. We have dated for a short period of time and suddendly in one night change he told me he dumped me because he only liked me as friends...but the previous night he had told me he loved me and was acting all lovey-dovey. the next day this girl he had a crush on from the past called and he dumped me the same day. he said hemis-interpreted the love feelings with friendship feelings. am i suppose to understand any of this? it seems so confusing and it really hurts. usually, it would be easy for me to understand him, but now it seems impossible. how am i suppose to deal with the fact that it doesnt seem like it's completely over?

what you need is closure, but really what he needs is a good kick in the balls. hes a child he doesn't know what he wants and he's not worth the time to even think about the best way to get over someone is to get under someone new, think about it.

Just forget him. Don't take him back if his other relationship fails either. I wish I could tell you good news in this case, but I cannot. Don't try to understand it, because it doesn't need to be understood. You can psychoanalyze this guy as much as you like, but it won't make him fall in love with you or fix the relationship you had. It's just time to move on. Good luck!

Depends how old you are. If you're a teen, then 2 months is "the longest time". And if he's a teen, then he doesn't know what love means. He misinterpreted love feelings for friends feelings? He's a kid.

Grly just go with the flow...move on in life cause you will certainly find someone better so don't kill your time thinking about it...cause if you again get into it you will just end up getting hurt and you might feel more sad later..

just try to get over him.he isn't worth your time.to me , it seems like he may have been using you.perhaps you were a way of making the other girl jealous, is that a possibility?
