We (hubby and I) used to have a Ford Bronco...LOVED that truck!! OMG it was an 80 something...but damn it was a good looking truck. I've noticed that they are pretty popular and hold their resale value so I wonder why Ford doesn't make them again??????

I don't like the Bronco 2 so much...to small...have you ever seen a Ford Bronco Centurion?? Big freaking thing...To big.
All the newer Ford SUV's are ugly and lack the charm of the old Broncos!!!!
Well, the Bronco would sell again where I live....we have a '92 F-350 crew cab long bed right now...almost everyone in my town drives a truck/suv!!
Bronco Love Forever!!! :)

Ford did have a concept of a new Bronco a few years ago. I don't think it will make it to production though. Right now Ford needs to make cars that will sell over 100,000 units a year. I don't see the Bronco selling over 100,000 units. Once Ford gets back on their feet they might bring back the Bronco.

Sales, after OJs fame to shame run, sales jumped way up on the broncos, but shortly after sales dropped and Ford was in need of a new utility truck, they came up with expeditions. With the redesign of the F series they needed to change the body style of the broncos and changed the name. They also did away with the bronco 2 and replaced it with the explorer. I agree they are good trucks.

Basically as people said, lack of sales and the fact that the Broncos were more of a true 4x4 vehicle and liable to tip easy...
Basically the Expedition took over the Broncos spot... like the explorer did for the Bronco II

I think Ford has a prototype in the planning stage. e-mail Ford with your request and maybe if they get enough interest will go in production.

Probably because the wheelbase was short, which may help it flip in an accident

I think they just decided that two-door SUVs don't sell.
